Material Philosophy

palome

Palome began with a gentler point of view. Working closely with trusted makers and guided by carefully selected fabrics available in limited quantities, the brand started by creating small runs of considered pieces. What began quietly, shared first with friends, soon found its way naturally to a wider community.

Today, Palome continues in this same spirit: creating small collections that launch every two weeks from exceptional fabrics chosen for their texture, quality, and lasting comfort. Each piece is shaped with care, made to be returned to season after season, and offered with a thoughtful approach that brings remarkable craft closer to everyday life.

Tell your friends

Palome spends less on traditional marketing than many brands. Instead, we place our focus on the things that can be felt: exceptional fibres, careful construction, and the small details that make a piece last.If a Palome piece becomes part of your wardrobe, sharing it with a friend is always warmly appreciated.

Thank you for being part of Palome’s journey.

Palome Principles

Palome is built around a simple belief: beautiful clothes begin with beautiful materials, thoughtful making, and a lasting sense of ease. Our approach is guided by five core principles:

palome

Material quality

  • Palome garments are designed to be worn, loved, and returned to over time. We choose materials for their feel against the skin, their resilience, and the way they soften or develop character with wear.
  • Across our collections, we continue to prioritise natural, certified, organic, recycled, and responsibly sourced materials wherever possible, including cashmere, silk, cotton, linen, wool, and certified fibres.
  • We also continue to work with responsible wool sources, including recycled or RWS-certified wool where available, and we require all wool used by Palome to be mulesing-free.

Premium factories and certification

Palome partners with makers who share our respect for careful production, skilled workmanship, and responsible standards.

  • Our manufacturing partners are expected to follow recognised social and environmental standards, including fair working conditions, responsible production practices, and reduced environmental impact.
  • We work with partners certified by BSCI or WRAP, and remain open to partners certified by SMETA, ICS, or WCA.
