Hounslow Jeans offers a relaxed interpretation of Palome’s barrel leg silhouette. Wide through the leg and intentionally oversized in feel, it sits at a natural mid rise and is cut to an ankle length. Twisted seams shape the leg into a soft banana form, creating volume and movement without feeling heavy. The silhouette feels expressive yet approachable, balancing distinctive shape with everyday ease.

Crafted from premium Japanese denim woven in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, the fabric is made from 100% cotton and finished in a darker blue wash. It begins with a defined, substantial hand and gradually softens with wear, developing depth, character, and natural patina over time. The denim supports the rounded silhouette while remaining comfortable and wearable, reflecting a quiet confidence rooted in Japanese craftsmanship.

PERFECT SHAPE

Absolutely love these - the fit is just spot on. They nip in at the waist, skim the hips so nicely and the darker blue feels so chic. Super comfy too. I put them on and instantly thought, “yes, these are the ones.”

Large one!

I'm 5ft 6½ (26" waist, 35.4" hips) and usually wear a UK 8. I ordered both the 8 and 10 in the Hounslow because I wanted that relaxed, effortlessly cool look. The UK 10 definitely runs larger - it feels more like a standard UK 12, roomy through the hips and waist. The UK 8, on the other hand, still gives me that loose, easy vibe I was after but fits in a more flattering way at the waist. The denim has a structured drape with no stretch, which helps it keep its clean shape while feeling relaxed. I ended up keeping the UK 8 - it gives that laid-back, slouchy feel without looking oversized. If you prefer a closer fit around the hips and waist, I'd suggest sizing down from your usual size.

Runs large

I'm 5ft 6 (29.9" waist, 38.8" hips) and tried the Hounslow jeans in a UK 10. The fit feels snug around the waist and becomes slightly high-waisted on me. When I sit, the front rise feels tight and there's some pulling at the crotch, though standing up the jeans look great — the barrel-leg shape curves nicely through the thigh and falls cleanly to the top of my feet. I personally prefer a little more length and ease at the waist, so I'd size up to a UK 12 for comfort. For anyone under 5'6" or who likes more fitted waist, sizing down would work well.

Large but nice

I'm 5ft 4 (29.9" waist, 39.4" hips) and tried the Hounslow jeans in a UK 10. The waist fits comfortably and sits flat without digging in, while the barrel-leg cut gives a curved shape through the thigh that tapers slightly toward the ankle. The rigid denim has no stretch but holds its structure beautifully, giving that sculpted, modern look. When I sit, the front rise feels a touch snug but it's still comfortable overall. The length just reaches the floor on me, which helps balance the curved silhouette and makes the leg line look longer. For my height, UK 10 is the right size - structured but flattering; if you're under 5'6" or prefer a neater fit at the waist, you could size down just like me.

Great shape & colour

Really nice cut and great length for me at 5’3, and the colour is super. I usually find Palome jean sizing runs small, but I would say the Hounslow is spot on. I’d say the size 8 is equivalent to a 26” jean and the 10 is a small 28”. Very fast delivery as always.

Cool trendy jeans

These are my second jeans from Palome and again I had to size down, but I don't mind! These jeans are in such a nice and trendy cut, the barrel flares beautifully at the bottom (I have another barrel jean, but they narrow towards the bottom and I realised I didn't like that) these stay wide at the bottom and you feel instantly stylish and effortless at the same time. I am 5'4'' and normally wear 10, but ordered these in 8 (based on previous experience) and I wasn't wrong. They are ever so slightly tight on my waste when sitting down, but that is probably because I am used to wearing stretch jeans. These have the exact tightness you should have with non-stretch jeans I think and size 10 would be too large at the waste. Besides they hug my bottom so nicely in size 8, will have to sacrifice some comfort for that! The material is thick and soft, like with my other pair and I still cannot get over how high quality and luxurious Palome jeans feel. Just fab!

Can’t stop wearing them

Honestly, I’ve worn the Hounslow jeans almost every day since they arrived - they’re just that comfortable and flattering. Please make them in black or grey denim too (or both!). I’d buy them in every colour. So happy I found Palome - these jeans are a total favourite.
