Celine shape

I'm 5ft 4 (29.9" waist, 39.4" hips) and usually wear a UK 12 on the bottom, but I tried the Poplar jeans in a UK 10. They fit snugly around the hips with a light sense of compression, yet the overall shape is beautifully straight and elongated. The mid-rise sits right at the navel, giving a clean, balanced look from the waist to the hip. The denim is structured with a refined drape that keeps the legs looking slim and streamlined. As someone who owns Celine's classic straight-leg jeans, I find this cut strikingly similar - that same timeless, slightly sculpted fit. I'd choose my usual UK 12 for a more relaxed, slouchy look where the waist sits just below the navel for that effortless mid-to-low-rise feel, but the UK 10 gives a sharper and more tailored finish.

EFFORTLESSLY COOL AND UNIQUE

The whisker wash looks natural and vintage-inspired, really softening the denim. The knee detail adds personality while keeping the look sophisticated. The straight-leg cut is classic yet modern - very versatile.

PERFECT MID BLUE

Absolutely love this colour — it’s even nicer in person. The mid blue is such a flattering, easy shade and goes with everything in my wardrobe. The fit is comfy, the shape is really lovely, and they feel much more premium than I expected. A really gorgeous pair of jeans — so pleased with them.

Good one actually

I'm 5ft 6½ (26" waist, 35.4" hips) and usually wear a UK 8, but I went for the Poplar jeans in a UK 10 for a more relaxed fit. They sit lower on the waist - just below the navel - and give that effortless, slouchy look I love. The denim feels beautifully soft yet structured, holding its shape without being stiff. The loose cut through the hips and thigh makes them comfortable to wear all day, and the slightly wider leg adds an easy, modern vibe. They're the perfect pair for a casual day when you want that laid-back, borrowed-from-the-boys feel while still looking polished.

Beautiful denim, runs a little big.

The quality is gorgeous - soft but structured, really classic blue. I did find them slightly roomy around the waist, so I’d recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes. Still, they drape beautifully and look effortless.
