Our Denim Is Different

It is easy to imagine that all denim is the same, and that the difference between one pair of jeans and another is simply a matter of style, cut, and wash.

At Palome, denim begins earlier: with the fibre, the weave, and the way the fabric feels and changes with wear. Sourced from specialist mills in Italy and Japan, our denim is chosen for its structure, depth, and lasting comfort.

Soft against the skin yet shaped with clarity, Palome jeans and jackets are made to flatter, move with you, and become more personal over time.

Made In Italy

Our Italian denim is crafted with generations of textile expertise, using long-staple cotton and precise milling to create fabric with structure, softness, and natural resilience.

Built for repeated wear, Italian denim brings a composed hand feel and a clean shape, making it especially suited to tailored silhouettes and everyday wardrobe pieces.

The Art of Japanese Denim

In Japan, denim is shaped with patience and precision. Our Japanese fabrics are woven with close attention to texture, tone, and character, creating denim with depth from the first wear.

The result is a rich, tactile fabric that softens beautifully over time while holding its sense of structure. Built for life, not for trend, this denim honours craft while shaping itself to you.

Washing Your Denim

  1. Wash inside out to protect the indigo surface.
  2. Cold wash at 30°C with similar colours.
  3. Use a mild liquid detergent, avoiding bleach or brighteners.
  4. Wash sparingly to preserve the fabric’s texture and depth.
  5. Unless necessary, washing can be kept to a minimum to preserve the denim’s depth of colour and character.

Drying & Softening

  1. Do not tumble dry - heat can damage the fibres.
  2. Lay flat or hang to air dry, away from direct sunlight.
  3. Smooth seams gently while damp to keep shape and drape.
  4. A brief steam or low-heat iron (max 110°C) helps relax the cotton naturally.
  5. Air-dried denim retains strength, breathability, and longevity.

Storing Your Denim

  1. Fold neatly or hang from the waistband to maintain structure.
  2. Store in a cool, dry place - never airtight, so the cotton stays breathable.
  3. Avoid stacking tightly to prevent creasing and colour transfer.
  4. Well-stored denim ages with softness and integrity.
