Washing Your Denim
- Wash inside out to protect the indigo surface.
- Cold wash at 30°C with similar colours.
- Use a mild liquid detergent, avoiding bleach or brighteners.
- Wash sparingly to preserve the fabric’s texture and depth.
- Unless necessary, washing can be kept to a minimum to preserve the denim’s depth of colour and character.
Drying & Softening
- Do not tumble dry - heat can damage the fibres.
- Lay flat or hang to air dry, away from direct sunlight.
- Smooth seams gently while damp to keep shape and drape.
- A brief steam or low-heat iron (max 110°C) helps relax the cotton naturally.
- Air-dried denim retains strength, breathability, and longevity.
Storing Your Denim
- Fold neatly or hang from the waistband to maintain structure.
- Store in a cool, dry place - never airtight, so the cotton stays breathable.
- Avoid stacking tightly to prevent creasing and colour transfer.
- Well-stored denim ages with softness and integrity.
