Palome European Linen

Palome European linen begins with carefully selected fibres, traditional craftsmanship, and the natural qualities that make linen so enduring.

Breathable, textured, and naturally comfortable, our linen is chosen for the way it feels against the skin, softens with wear, and holds its sense of ease over time.

A Natural Rhythm

Linen is valued for its open weave, natural breathability, and gently textured hand feel. Our linen can have a slub in it, proof of its natural quality.

Light against the skin and comfortable across changing temperatures, it brings clarity, movement, and lasting ease to the everyday wardrobe.

Hypoallergenic, breathable, and gentle on the skin, linen is a natural choice for spring, summer, and layered autumn dressing.

Washing

  1. Wash linen in cool to lukewarm water with a mild, enzyme-free detergent.
  2. Turn garments inside out and wash with similar materials to keep the weave smooth.
  3. For machine wash, use a delicate cycle with a protective laundry bag - always follow the garment's care label.
  4. Avoid twisting or rubbing; press gently to cleanse.
  5. Skip softeners and harsh chemicals - linen needs only simple, thoughtful care.

Drying, Ironing & Steaming

  1. Let linen dry naturally whenever possible - laid flat or hung in gentle shade.
  2. Shake lightly before drying to help the fibres relax into a softer drape.
  3. If using a dryer, choose a low-heat, short cycle and remove while still slightly damp.
  4. Iron linen on the reverse side while the fabric is still lightly damp.
  5. Use medium to high heat with generous steam for a smoother finish.
  6. For a more natural, relaxed texture, gently steam with a handheld steamer.
  7. Avoid high heat or pressing linen dry without steam - moisture helps the fibres open and soften.

Storage

  1. Fold linen garments and store them in a breathable cotton bag.
  2. Keep pieces away from direct sunlight to preserve colour and texture.
  3. Ensure the fabric is completely dry before storing.
  4. Lightweight linen may be hung on wide hangers, while heavier weaves are best kept folded.
