Didn’t think I needed another black dress…

Honestly I already have a few little black dresses, but this one felt different. The cotton is light, the fit is forgiving, and it doesn’t scream “trendy.” I kept it because it’s the kind of piece I’ll actually wear often.

Lovely dress (but could be improved)

Lovely dress - as others have said, it's flattering, great pockets and really lovely quality poplin cotton for the price. I have kept it though almost sent it back as the straps are slightly annoying: adjustable is fine but it is quite fiddly to get them the right length and equal to each other, and I end up tucking the bows in as they stick out in a funny way, particularly as the bow fabric is a stiff cotton (maybe it will soften in the wash). I ultimately kept it as the price is great compared toother black summer dresses I could find. As advised, I think it is worth sizing down if you are between sizes - I am an 8-10 with a small bust/slim ribcage; I have slightly wider hips but the 8 is still perfect as the skirt is quite full. I'm around 174cm and the length is a couple of inches above the ankle, so it might be a little long for short people.

So comfortable

This is my favourite dress. It is one of those items you can throw on and feel great without much effort. The pockets are a great addition and add to the whole comfortable feel. Even when I am having a bloated tummy day it makes me feel good. A very flattering shape.
