Putney Jeans

I’m 5ft 6 and normally go for a UK 8. The size 8 Putney jeans felt fitted at the waist and hips but quite tight through the crotch area, so I’d say they run a bit small there. Once on, the denim feels firm and tailored, with minimal give. They look flattering overall but I might try a size up next time for more comfort when sitting.

I’ve always struggled to get jeans that fit and are comfortable - I’ve got an 27/28 inch waist and I am petite (5’4). Took a gamble on these and they are spot on - perfect length, not too tight on the waist nor hips and the cotton is so soft. Will be purchasing the blue version at some point! I’m so fussy about clothes and would highly recommend these jeans.

I’m 5ft 4½ and wear a UK 8 most of the time. The Putney jeans in size 8 fit nicely overall - the waist sits well and isn’t too loose. When sitting, I can feel a little tightness around the thighs, but it’s manageable. The fabric is non-stretch, so if you’re over 5'4" or have fuller hips, I’d recommend going one size up for comfort.

I’ve tried Putney, Gresham, and Harley, all in UK 8. Putney fits close at the waist and hips - it’s structured but still comfortable after a bit of wear. Gresham drapes longer on me (5ft 4 ) and gives a more relaxed, effortless look. Harley fits snugly at the waist and hips but not tight, and although the fabric doesn’t stretch, the cut still allows for movement. For those over 165 cm or who like a relaxed silhouette, staying true to size in Harley or Gresham works well. Putney may feel a little smaller, so sizing up could be better for comfort.

My favourite pair of jeans now! Despite being non-stretch, the material is comfy and lighter than I expected (as opposed to stiff and unyielding). I am 168cm and these are full length for me but I'm delighted with how it looks. Will be buying in light blue!

These jeans are good quality and come pressed and ready to wear, unlike a lot of clothes these days that are obviously someone else’s return. The size 8 fit perfectly on me in the waist and hips but were too short for me at 5.9, otherwise I would have kept them!

These jeans are of such beautiful quality. The fit is perfect - something I often struggle with as I'm 5'2". I adore them and they are so versatile!

Really like these jeans, I am 5”5 and they are a really good length and they have a good waist to hip width ratio

I’ve tried several styles - Putney, Gresham, Temple, and Harley - all in UK 8. Among them, Temple fits best at the waist; it feels snug but comfortable with the right amount of structure. Harley, which has no stretch, feels a little firm at the waist but not overly tight, and it keeps a clean, straight shape. Putney fits closer around the hips, while Gresham feels more relaxed through the leg. I’m 5ft 6½ with a 26" waist and 35.4" hips. I’d stay with UK 8 in Temple and Harley, but go up to UK 10 in Putney for a softer waist fit.

I love these jeans. I was looking for something slightly cropped, quite smart but still with a hint of summer! These fit perfectly and I have been wearing them with a quarter zip sweater and loafers for a classic autumn casual look. I just wish they had my size in the other colours!

Start the beginning, the delivery was very fast in a beautiful bespoke box. The material is such good quality and the fit as other people have said was as if they were made for me! I have since ordered two jackets which are equally as lovely. Will be ordering more.

The jeans seemed slightly tight around my waistline initially but now fit absolutely perfectly after wearing a few times. Fabric is heavy but soft, retains its shape. Cut is stunning and very, very flattering, I am short 5'4" and the jeans hit the floor at my heel but are fine with shoes or trainers. Somehow these jeans elongate my short legs, winner! Thank you

I bought almost an identical pair of trousers from APC for double the price recently. These seem to be equally high quality, and I love the cream colour for summer. I think these will be a new wardrobe staple for me.

The jeans are exactly as pictured and a lovely quality - I’ve definitely paid more for lesser quality. The service and packaging was excellent too, lovely company will buy from them again.

I’m 5ft 2 and usually a UK 6 or 8. I tried the UK 8 in the Putney jeans, and they fit comfortably around the waist but feel slightly roomy on the hips and thighs. The longer leg length gives me a relaxed, slouchy look, which I actually like. The denim feels high-quality and holds up well after moving around. If you prefer a more fitted look, you could size down.

These jeans are what attracted me to Paloma in the first place, and I wasn’t disappointed. They are a great shape and coupled with a simple t shirt and loafers, they look really stylish. Thoroughly recommend

After my 6th!!! Purchase from Palome I felt it was time I gave an honest review. I’m now in my early 40’s and very much in my ‘put together lady’ era as opposed to being a dedicated follower of fashion. I want to fill my wardrobe with high quality pieces that make me ooze sophistication rather than clothes that will be worn once then end up in landfill… enter Palome. I discovered this amazing brand on Instagram and while dubious about the pricing of their pieces given the fabrics and ethos I thought I’d place an order. Today I am writing a review for the Putney jeans however this review would work for any of the items that now happily sit in my wardrobe, pride of place and enjoying all the compliments they receive. All I can say is simply stunning, the fit the quality the style is all 10/10. Every item is cut to perfection, almost as if it were tailored to my body what is this sorcery? The Putney’s give the perfect silhouette making my legs look longer and slimmer and extremely flattering to my tummy ( no easy job after 2 children ). I have washed and dried the jeans there has been no shrinkage or loss to colour …. Which I should add is a gorgeous vintage pale blue, I usually class pale blue as a summer Jean but I feel these will also work well into autumn and winter with a chunky knit and the length will work nicely with a winter boot ( I’m 5’7 they sit nicely on the ankle bone, very chic )… very impressive!! I’m a uk 10/12 and tend to mostly wear a 12 in none stretch denim and these couldn’t of fitted me more perfectly. The denim is very soft but durable with no cutting in or pinching which I have experienced with other jeans in the past. Lastly the detail to packaging and customer service has been second to none. Beautiful pink boxes filled with my new purchases carefully folded wrapped in tissue paper and sprayed with a delicate scent who could ask for more? I’ve asked my husband to order my surprise birthday gifts from Palome, I sold it to him saying there will be no need to find the perfect gift as Palome knows my style and will cover the gift wrapping. If you can’t tell I highly recommend this company you will not be disappointed you will be addicted.

Love these jeans they are a great cut and really soft but substantial denim that I know are going to last, great length sit exactly on my ankles (I’m 5’5 ») tall. Bought with a cardigan and will definitely wear on repeat!

The colour is that perfect light vintage blue I’ve been hunting for. Super wearable.

Honestly feels like a much more expensive brand. The fabric is thick, soft and holds up beautifully.

I wasn't sure about wide-leg jeans on my petite frame, but these are cropped just right and make my legs look longer.

I wore these to a gallery opening and three people asked me where they were from.

The wide leg is such a nice change from my usual skinny jeans. They make everything feel more relaxed.

I measured myself against the size guide and should have been a solid 12, but when these arrived they were comically too small. Same problem with the other jeans I ordered, I'd hesitate to shop here again.

Well done - I have no idea how but these are every bit as good as my VB pair. Proper luxury denim - not like 7forall etc. Definite recommend but not clear to me how this price is possible.

These are really good quality jeans - I came her from an ad that I wasn't sure about and ordered with suspicion but they really do feel like very expensive jeans - I am a believer.

These are now my default travel jeans -comfy on the plane but I still feel pulled together.
